Clue #1 - Friday, August 7th
I’m the pepper medallion,
And I’m lost once again.
But I want to be found,
By one of my friends.
I’m not hard to find,
I’m shiny and I’m round.
I’m on public land-
And I’m waiting to be found.
MEANING: Medallion is hidden on public land
Clue #2 - Saturday, August 8th
This should be fun for all
But I will be harder to find this year
Now I’m sure where I am,
I’m right out in the clear.
MEANING: The medallion is hidden in the open
Clue #3 - Sunday, August 9th
I really want to help
Cause I want to be found
I have a Pepper Fest Logo
I’m small and I’m round
It shouldn’t take long
I’m quite easy to see
But you’re going to have to walk
Cause there is no parking near me
MEANING: No parking by a fire hydrant
Clue #4 - Monday, August 10th
The Weekend is over
And no prize has been won
The Pepper Fest Medallion
Is lost in the Sun
The sun is so bright
Under the North Hudson Sky
If I only could cool off,
From the water near by
MEANING: The medallion is near water (fire hydrant)
Clue #5 - Tuesday, August 11th
Gather your friends
And study the clues
Please come and find me
You have nothing to lose!
I’m kind of a big deal,
You could say I’m great
6-7 used to be cool,
But I’m after 7-8
MEANING: 6–7-year-old kids, 8th–“9th” street aka Lemon Street

You’ll need to look down
The only way to find me
Is to look all around
I’m not buried deep
So don’t look below
I’m hanging around
Where the water can flow
MEANING: Hanging by ground water

I’m kind of lonely
Why can’t you see
I’m tired of hiding
Please come and find me
I’ve made a few friends
Who are just wandering though
They stop and they sniff
And leave their mark too!
MEANING: Dogs sniff fire hydrants
