The Pepper Fest King

A “King” has always been a part of the Pepper Fest tradition. In the early years of Pepper Fest, the King was called the Godfather. Not only is the King an ambassador for the Pepper Festival, but he is also a mentor for the young ladies representing Pepper Fest. The Pepper Fest King is an adult male, not less than 30 years old, and a current resident in the Hudson School District.

The Club of Pepper Kings

The Club of Pepper Kings, founded in 2012, consists of past Kings of the North Hudson Pepper Festival. The Club of Pepper Kings is a non-profit, charitable group organized under North Hudson Pepper Festival, Inc.

Each year the Club of Pepper Kings hosts an event(s) to raise funds for the Pepper Fest Royalty Scholarships and other community interests. In 2015, the Club of Pepper Kings raised the funds required to build a new Pepper Fest float. Many past Kings helped in building the new float.
